  • (Optional) Cardstock for the covers

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 35 min):

  1. Prepare the printed templates. (10 min)
    • Cut the printed template pages in half along the center line.
    • Ensure there are enough pages for the number of days each youth desires. Include a blank front and back cover page.
    • (Optional) Cut one sheet of cardstock in half to create a front and back cover.
    • (Optional) Explain how to use the template sheet.
  2. Create the binding. (10 min)
    • Make sure the pages are stacked in the correct order. Stack the pages evenly and punch two holes along the blank left margin. Align the paper stack so the holes match up perfectly.

  3. Decorate the top cover. (10 min)
    • Use coloring tools to create a cover page. It could have a title with the youth’s name or just have designs and deocrations.
