Lyrics

Tarzan
Swinging on a rubber band
Tarzan
Smacked into a frying pan

Oooo that’s hurts
Now Tarzan has a tan
And I hope he doesn’t peel
Like a banana

Jane
Cruisin’ in her airplane
Jane
Crashed into a freeway lane

Ooo, that hurts
Now Jane has a pain
She has to use a cane
Now Tarzan has a tan
And I hope he doesn’t peel
Like a banana

Cheetah
Dancing on a pizza
Cheetah
Swallowed an amoeba

Now Cheetah is velveeta
And Jane has a pain
And Tarzan has a tan
And I hope he doesn’t peel
Like a banana
Like a banana

Variations

“Ooo, that’s bad” instead of “Ooo, that hurts”

Replace verses 2 & 3 with:

Jane,
Speeding on her bullet train,
Got hit by an arrow-plane,
Now Jane has no brain.

Cheeta,
Was dancing to the beata,
Crashed into the streeta,
Now Cheeta is Velveta,

WARNING – Some of these lyrics are offensive and/or violent-natured

Crashed into a little girl
Now Squirrel’s gonna hurl

Now Cheeta is velveeta
Now Jane’s got a pain
Now Tarzan’s got a tan

Monkey.

Got stung by a bumblebee

Drove into a pond-a
Now Rhonda has no Honda

History

“Tarzan” references characters from Edgar Rice Burroughs’ 1912 series, and utilizes slapstick humor and modern commercial references (such as Velveeta) to parody the heroic jungle mythos of the early 20th century.
