Activity Description: Act out well‑known characters from books, movies, or TV shows for the group to guess.
Items Needed:
- Strips of paper with character names written on them
- A container or bowl to hold the strips of paper
- (Optional) Extra paper and pens to add new characters
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 20–25 min):
- Prepare the character prompts. (1–2 min)
- Write simple, well‑known characters on strips of paper and place them in the container.
- Choose a prompt. (1–2 min)
- Have one touth draw a strip of paper without showing it to anyone.
- Act out the character. (5–7 min)
- Act out the character using only movement and expression. No speaking or props are allowed.
- Guess the character. (3–5 min)
- The group watches and raises hands to guess the character.
- Choose one youth to guess. If correct, they take the next turn.
- If they have already taken a turn, the next turn goes to the youth on their right.
- If that youth has also taken a turn, continue moving to the right until a Youth who has not taken a turn is chosen.
- Continue playing. (5–7 min)
- Play until all youth have had a turn or the prompts run out.
