Activity Description: Youth compete in teams to complete a cookie fact sheet by answering all questions first.
Items Needed:
- Pre‑prepared sheet of cookie questions
- Pencils
- (Optional) Order cards
- (Optional) Computers, smartphones, or tablets for research
- (Optional) Second sheet of questions for another round
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15–40 min):
- Divide youth into teams and give each team materials. (2–5 min)
- Each team gets a question sheet, pencils, an order card, and a device for research.
- Start the Cookie Team Sprint. (10–20 min)
- Teams race to write down answers to all questions on their sheet.
- Youth use order cards or Digital Cookie/Smart Cookies with an adult to find answers.
- Check which team finishes first. (1–2 min)
- The first team with all answers written down wins. If a mistake is found, the other team can correct it to earn the win.
- (Optional) Play a second round. (5–10 min)
- Use a new sheet of questions for another sprint.
