- Citizenship – Respect for rules, symbols, civic participation

Youth can create freely, dream big, and share their stories. Whether through art, drama, music, or design, these activities celebrate originality and give young people tools to explore ideas through creativity.
- Crafting – Hands-on projects using tools and materials to build, decorate, or invent
- Imaginative – Creative drama, fantasy scenarios, story-based exploration
- Music & Performance – Songs, rhythm, skits, movement, and performance arts
- Visual Arts – Visual creations using traditional or found materials (Drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media projects)
Education & Skill Building
Builds practical and cognitive skills for everyday life and future growth.
These activities help youth think critically, solve problems, plan effectively, explore new ideas, and gain confidence through hands-on discovery. Youth develop real-world tools for navigating life by learning how to budget, observe nature, or design a contraption.
- Financial Literacy – Budgeting, fundraising, and managing group funds
- First Aid – Emergency response basics, wound care, safety skills
- Observation – Nature journaling, safety walks, identifying patterns, and detail awareness
- Planning & Organization – Event prep, time management, setting goals
- Problem Solving – Logic puzzles, group challenges, creative thinking tasks
- STEM – Activities tied to science, technology, engineering, or math
Outdoor & Environmental Skills
Builds comfort, confidence, and responsibility in the natural world.
These activities help youth learn how to care for the earth, navigate the outdoors, and thrive in nature. Through exploration and adventure, they gain both environmental awareness and practical survival skills.
- Art with Nature – Art that uses nature directly in the process: through materials (like rocks, leaves, or soil), outdoor spaces, or natural forces (like sunlight or wind). The art may be built outside, designed for nature, or shaped by it.
- Nature & Environment – Animals, ecosystems, conservation, climate, and caring for the planet. Includes wildlife, habitats, recycling, upcycling, pollination, and environmental stewardship.
- Outdoor Recreation & Adventure – Location- or gear-based activities like geocaching, letterboxing, archery, paddling, biking, snowshoeing, etc.
- Outdoor Skills – Camping basics, survival skills, fire safety, hiking know-how
Personal Growth
Encourages confidence, self-awareness, and values-driven behavior.
These activities empower youth to explore identity, express emotions, develop empathy, and grow into kind, capable, thoughtful individuals. Whether reflecting quietly or leading boldly, they build inner strength and integrity along the way.
