Activity Description: Create a simple message about making a difference and choose a way to share it with others.
Items Needed:
- (Optional) Paper
- (Optional) Pencils, crayons, or markers
- (Optional) Device to record a short video
- (Optional) Space to perform a skit or play
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 10–35 min):
- Think about your message. (3–5 min)
- With an adult, talk about what you learned and what you hope will make a difference. Choose one clear idea you want to share.
- Decide on the method and create the message. (5–20 min)
- Decide on which method to use:
- Draw or write your message on paper.
- Act it out as a short skit or play.
- Record a simple video with an adult’s help.
- Decide on which method to use:
- Choose how to share it. (3–5 min)
- Brainstorm ways to show your message to others, such as at school, in your troop, or in a community space.
- (Optional) Share the message online with an adult’s help.
- Reflect together. (2–3 min)
- Talk about how sharing your message can help others learn and take action.
