Toy Making – Stacking Cups

Activity Description: Youth decorate cups and use them to build towers, race, and/or practice stacking skills.


Items Needed:

  • Paper or plastic cups (at least 6 per youth)
  • Markers
  • (Optional) Stickers
  • (Optional) Tape
  • (Optional) Washi tape or colored paper
  • (Optional) Timer or stopwatch

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 5–10 min):

  1. Decorate the cups. (5–10 min)
    • Give each Youth a set of cups to personalize.
    • Use markers, stickers, or tape to decorate each cup.
    • (Optional) Add names, symbols, or team colors.

How to Use Stacking Cups

  • Prepare the stacking area.
    • Clear a flat, safe surface such as a table or floor.
