Games – Same Here

Game also known as “Me Too”.

Activity Description: A movement game where youth form groups based on things they like.

Items Needed:

  • None (just the group and their creativity!)

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 10–15 min):

  1. Start the first round. (2–3 min)
    • Sit in a circle as a group. Make sure everyone can see and hear each other.
    • Choose one youth to stand up and move a few feet away from the group. They share something they like, such as a favorite food.
    • Anyone who likes the same thing says “Same here!” and walks over to join them.
  2. Continue forming groups. (2–3 min)
    • Pick someone still sitting to stand up and share their favorite food.
    • Others who match join their group.
    • Continue until everyone is standing in a group.
  3. Start a new category. (2–3 min)
    • Choose someone who has not shared yet to step away from all groups. They share a new category, such as favorite color.
    • Others join the group if they match.
  4. Repeat with new categories. (3–4 min)
    • Continue until everyone has had a turn to share.

Possible Categories:
