S.Am. Protect Children – Cubs

Activity Description: Youth complete six short safety activities with their adult guardian from the Scouting America Cub Scout parent’s guide booklet.


Items Needed:

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 10–20 min):

  1. Adult guardian reads the booklet section. (5–7 min)
    • Notice the six blue box activities listed that the adult needs to go over with their cub scout. (See the Quick Guide for an overview. Always check the Scouting America official document for the most up to date version.)
  2. Review each activity together. (5–7 min)
    • Adult guardian explains what the activity is. Youth follow the steps with their adult guardian.
  3. Adult guardian signs off on all activities (1–2 min)
    • Adult signs and dates when each of the six activities were done to return to scout leader.
