Activity Description: Youth vote by ranking their choices in order of preference to help determine group decisions.
Items Needed:
- List of prepared options
- Paper for each youth
- Pens or pencils
- (Optional) Extra paper for tie‑breaker voting
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 15–20 min):
- Rank choices. (5–7 min)
- Youth write down their selected options on a blank piece of paper in order of preference. They number the choices starting with their favorite.
- Collect the votes. (2–3 min)
- Gather all voting sheets or slips of paper.
- Count and review results. (6–10 min)
- Leaders tally the rankings to find the overall top picks.
- If two or more options tie, hold a second round of voting for just those two options.
- Announce the winning option(s). Record the decisions so the group can follow them later.
