Activity Description: Youth try short mini activities before voting on their favorite choices.
Items Needed:
- List of options and mini-activities that match the options
- Materials for each mini activity (example: robot or car for robotics, video for dance)
Before the Meeting Starts:
- Prepare mini activities. (8–10 min)
- Set up short activities related to each option.
- Example: robotics with a remote‑controlled car, dance with a short video routine.
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 25–45 min):
- Try each mini activity. (10–25 min)
- Youth rotate through the mini activities.
- They test or experience each option before voting.
- Select top choices. (8–10 min)
- Youth vote for their top options. See the different Voting activities, if needed.
- Count and review results. (4–6 min)
- Tally the votes to find the most popular activities.
- If two or more options tie, hold a second round of voting. Youth cast one vote each to decide the final choice.
- Announce the winning activities. Record the decisions so the group can follow them later.
