Activity Description: Youths create a menu for customers to use at a cookie booth, listing cookie flavors and package costs.
Items Needed:
- Girl Scout Cookie order cards
- Plain paper and/or construction paper
- Writing, drawing, and coloring supplies
- (Optional) Computer with slideshow or digital art software.
- (Optional) Girl Scout Promise and Law printout
Before the Meeting Starts:
- Set up a sign-making station. (3–4 min)
- Place paper, markers, and cookie order cards on tables.
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 20–25 min):
- (Optional) Review cookie information. (4–5 min)
- Youth look at order cards to see cookie flavors and package costs. Talk about how menus help customers choose quickly.
- Create menus. (8–10 min)
- Youth design menus to be used at a Cookie Booth that shows cookie flavors and prices.
- (Optional) Menus can be made using slideshow or digital art software.
