G.S. Cookies – Plan a Cookie Rally

Activity Description: Youths make a cookie rally plan to use for a future troop event.


Items Needed:

  • Copies of chosen cookie rally resources (see list below activity instructions)
  • Poster paper or notebook for notes
  • Drawing and coloring supplies
  • (Optional) Stickers or tokens for voting

Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 40–60 min):

  1. Review rally options. (5–6 min)
    • Show youth the different cookie rally resources. Explain that some rallies have its own activities and instructions. Another option is to pick your favorite activities and make your own rally plan.
  2. Compare ideas. (10–15 min)
    • Youth look at the options and talk about what they like. Write or draw simple notes about favorite parts of each rally.
  3. Vote on a rally plan. (4–5 min)
  4. Plan for the future event. (10–15 min)
    • Youth discuss how the chosen rally will be used at a troop event. Save notes and drawings to prepare for the rally day.
