Activity Description: Youths work together to find 10 invisible traits they share.
Items Needed:
- Paper
- Pen or pencil
- (Optional) Whiteboard or chart paper for group display
Instructions (Estimated Total Time: 10–15 min):
- Brainstorm invisible traits (8–10 min)
- Sit together in a circle or around a table. Make sure everyone can hear and participate.
- Challenge the group to list 10 things they have in common that are not visible.
- Examples include favorite games, shared hobbies, or similar experiences.
- Avoid obvious traits like “being human” or “being kids.”
- Write down the list (2–3 min)
- Use paper or a whiteboard to record the group’s answers.
- Make sure all ideas are included and celebrated.
Optional Reflection:
- Reflect on the list together (3–4 min)
- Talk about how these shared traits help people feel connected.
- Encourage Youth to notice these connections in other groups too.
